School Evacuation 05/07/2010

Staff and students from Burnside were evacuated following an incident which involved Police and North Tyneside safety officers. During the evacuation no staff or students were put at risk. We wish to reassure everyone that school is open tomorrow as usual for all staff and students.

North Tyneside Security will be on site to ensure that any belongings or equipment that could not be collected during the evacuation procedure will be safely stored over night. No access to these items will be available until school starts tomorrow morning.
